I was working on our taxes this evening. We use a tax software to help us prepare our taxes. I could probably do it without the software but it makes it so much easier and it allows us to file electronically. Last year when I was using the same software I got a message after putting in the amount of money we spent on daycare. It basically said the amount I had entered seemed large, was I sure. I told people about it and most laughed but I don't think they believed me. Well, folks, here it is again. This year I entered the amount and BAM-got the same message. "12475.44 seems large. Are you sure?"
How dare it even ask me this. I have two kids in daycare full time. I write a check for more than $200 each week. I am totally and painfully aware of how much I spend. Then, to be insulted by the tax software. It is like pouring salt in my wounds.
But, I guess it will be a little better next year. We just enrolled Thomas in kindergarten for next year in the public school system. More on that in another post.

New Haircut
Sorry it has taken me so long to write a new blog post. I really have just not been inspired. First the holidays and then our computer broke. So I am finally trying to get back into the blogging routine. Here is a picture of DCG with a new haircut. It is really the first time she actually has a style.
